Well, I'm about to tell you, so listen up!
A mirror site is a duplicate (yes.. i mean 'copy')
of a site on a different server.
If you still don't understand 'why', just read on...
People can make a mirror site for many reasons,
here are a few of them:
- Sometimes, a server has a better url then one other
- Some servers have better bandwidth (better speed)
- Some servers have more storage room for your site
- If you have more then 1 site, you probably always have 1 working
You see now why I have a mirror site?
